If you are spending a lot of money on buying masks or going to saloon’s for facial or acne treatments, then try these simple homemade masks for good and long lasting results. The ingredients of these masks can be readily available in your home and kitchen.
- Homemade Celery Mask
Mix two tablespoon of celery juice and oatmeal and mix well. Apply the paste on face and neck for at least 10-15 minutes. Wet your hands and scrub it in circular motions after then rinse with water. Use this mask twice a week for better results. Celery contains water and other essential minerals like potassium and magnesium. It also contains important vitamins that give nourishment to the skin. It also helps to remove acne.
- Use Almond mask.
Soak five to six almonds in a quarter cup of milk for overnight. On the next day peel the almond and grind them with milk they were soaked and make a paste. Apply this paste on the affected skin for 15 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with the water. Follow this procedure twice a week for the healthy and wrinkle free skin. Almonds are the rich source of vitamin E and help to restore the skin elasticity. Milk also moisturizes the skin and gives the glow.

Take a handful of radish seeds and grind them with the dry grinder or mortar. Make a paste by adding water to it and apply this paste on the skin for about 20 minutes and then remove it with the water. Its healing properties help to remove wrinkles as well blackheads or freckles as it contains saponins, tannins, and phenols.
- Cinnamon Mask
Mix half teaspoon of cinnamon powder and one tablespoon of honey and apply this as a mask. Leave this for 5-10 minutes then rinse and pat dry. You can use this mask twice a week. Cinnamon works efficiently with honey and provides the anti-aging effect. Honey works as an emollient.
- Yogurt Mask
Mix and beat three to four tablespoons of yogurt with one tablespoon of olive oil till thoroughly blended. Apply on the affected area for 20 minutes and then rinse it with lukewarm water. Repeat this procedure twice a week for better results. The yogurt helps to reduce pores in the skin because it contains lactic acid and other enzymes. It also tightens the skin and reduces wrinkles and fine lines.
- Aspirin Mask
Crush 8-10 aspirin tablets and make the paste by adding enough water. Apply this on the face for 15 minutes and then rinse. Repeat this twice a week. Aspirin helps to unclog the pores and shrinks them. It also reduces wrinkles and fine line because of its anti-aging effects.
